The Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea sent a message of greetings to the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on the 25th on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon.
The message said Chongryon, which started its work as a product of Juche and patriotism, has performed undying feats for the homeland and history believing and following only the motherland with single heart even in the complex situation of the alien land over the past 70 years. The course of development of Chongryon was a proud journey which powerfully proved that justice and truth and genuine life of the overseas compatriots lie in taking the road of patriotism under the guidance of a great leader.
Only victory and glory are in store for Chongryon and Koreans in Japan going to a bright future while glorifying the lofty name of the overseas compatriots' organization of the great power amid the eternal blessing of the peerlessly great men, the message said and expressed the firm belief that the entire officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan would add eternal brilliance to the proud history and tradition of the patriotic cause of Chongryon by carrying forward the spirit of loyalty and patriotism possessed by the founder generation of Chongryon, the generation that pioneered the Juche-based movement of Koreans in Japan.
