The field restoration promotion group reported its work to the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea regarding the restoration of destroyer on June 5.
It has restored the balance of the ship in early June and did end launching safely to moor it at the pier until the afternoon of the 5th.
After going through the re-examination of the overall condition of the hull by experts group the destroyer will be put into the next stage restoration.
The elaborate restoration of next stage will be done at a dry dock of the Rajin Ship Repair Factory and its duration is expected to be between 7 and 10 days.
Jo Chun Ryong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, who is guiding the work of the field restoration promotion group stressed that the full restoration of the ship will be concluded without fail before the convention of the Twelfth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.
