The Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea arranged parties for the purpose of giving comfort to the bereaved families of martyrs on the evening of the 26th on the occasion of the inauguration of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations.
Present there were Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, and other senior officials of the Party and the government, commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and the bereaved families of martyrs in the special military operations of the Korean People's Army.
Speeches were made at the parties.
Speakers expressed deep consolation to the bereaved families of martyrs in the special military operations of the KPA who bravely defended the sacred dignity and honour of our state by devoting their valuable and precious lives.
They touched on the great painstaking efforts made by Comrade Kim Jong Un to glorify down through generations the noble soul and worthwhile feats of the martyrs who devoted their youth and lives to the mightiness and bright future of our motherland without hesitation and relieve the bereaved families of their mental pain.
The lives of the heroes came to shine as the stars of the motherland year after year under the loving care of the great father who had the eternal memorial museum built working day and night, keeping all the martyrs who created a genuine model of heroism of our era in his heart, not under the ground, and built the one and only walls of eternal life with their last eyes and faces pure and courageous like stars, they said.
The martyrs will be always together in our struggle and life while convincing us of the truth of genuine life and victory, they said and stressed that the immortal military merits they performed with their blood and lives shouting hurray for the leader, the motherland and Pyongyang and the loyalty and noble self-sacrificing spirit they fully displayed in the flames of war will serve as the everlasting nourishment doubling the patriotic zeal and indomitable spirit to the people, service personnel of the People's Army and posterity.
The speakers prayed all the bereaved families of martyrs to lead a happy and worthwhile life amid the special concern of the Party and the government and the respect of the people across the country.
