Material and technical foundations for increasing production of Koryo medicines strengthened

The Koryo medicine factories in Ryanggang Province are revitalizing the production by strengthening the material and technical foundations.

The provincial Koryo medicine production management bureau encourages factories to improve the performance of equipment and widely introduce advanced manufacturing methods in line with the increasing demand of the people for Koryo medicines.

The Koryo medicine producers in Unhung County manufactured new extractive concentrators and rebuilt production processes in conformity with the standards of pharmaceutical production and quality control, putting the improvement of quality of goods and germ- and dust-free production processes on a higher level.

The Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factory in the city of Samjiyon makes successes in the production of basic and reserve medicines. The medicinal herb producers in Paekam County are expanding the variety and output of medicinal herbs.

Koryo medicine production units in the city of Hyesan, Kim Jong Suk County and Samsu County are also ensuring the quality of products while sorting, washing, cutting, drying and milling according to scientific and technical requirements.
