Pak Thae Song, Choe Ryong Hae and Jo Yong Won, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials and leading officials of armed forces organs visited the families of war veterans on July 23 and 24 on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Senior state officials visited war veterans’ families in Pyongyang and warmly congratulated the veterans on greeting the significant V-day with the pride that they are victors enjoying public respect under the special attention and warm care of the Party and the state.
Learning about the veterans’ health, the senior officials told them the deep trust and warm affection of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who wants the revolutionary forerunners, who defended the country at the cost of their blood and consolidated the foundation of the DPRK with invariable patriotism, loyalty and devoted efforts all their lives, to inspire the rising generation with strength and become the eternal spiritual pillar for them, full of energy despite their advanced age.
They spent a pleasant time with the veterans, appreciating the efforts of their families who are supporting and taking sincere care of the war veterans who created and personified heroic Korea’s history of mightiness and victory.
The veterans said that they would devote their remaining years to ensuring that the new generations of the revolution steadfastly carry forward the history and tradition of victory, always keeping in mind the benevolence of the great leader, who values them as the models and true teachers of their descendants. And they requested the senior officials to remain faithful to the ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un with all their possible efforts.
The senior officials hardened their will to dynamically carry forward the history of powerful Juche Korea by making strenuous efforts in the vanguard of the general advance to usher in the comprehensive golden age of national rejuvenation in the spirit of victory achieved on the immortal July 27.
