A meeting of “Evening of Friendship” of the DPRK and Russian schoolchildren’s friendship campers took place at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp on July 28.
Present there were Kim Song Il, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials concerned and members of the schoolchildren’s camping groups of the DPRK and Russia.
First, a letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un presented by the Russian campers was read out and courteously handed over to an official concerned.
Then the participants watched photos and videos showing the pleasant camping days in Songdowon, a scenic spot on the east coast of the DPRK.
At the meeting the Russian schoolchildren’s campers extended their gratitude to the respected leader Kim Jong Un for making them enjoy camping at the good camp, saying that they made friends with DPRK students at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp and spent pleasant camping days.
The schoolchildren of the two countries in a joint art performance sang and danced together, deepening the feelings of friendship.
During the camping, the schoolchildren’s friendship campers of the DPRK and Russia held cultural events.
