The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said in the historic Eleventh PlenaryMeeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’Party of Korea that the huge task of repairing flood damage was carried out inNorth Phyongan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces to open out new looks ofcultured rural town, thereby achieving the success of training Party members,youth and service personnel in the patriotic practical struggle while breakingnew ground of regional construction and demonstrating the inexhaustible strengthof self-development and self-determination.
Each word and phrase in his speech reflected the noble intention of therespected General Secretary Kim Jong Un to make all the gigantic creativeundertakings for national rejuvenation and improved livelihood of the people aprocess of further boosting self-confidence, not regarding them merely aspractical economic matters.
Six years ago, he clarified the determination of the WPK and the DPRKgovernment to realize the ideal and goal of building a powerful country byopening up a new aspect of prosperity by dint of self-reliance, noting thatnothing can reverse or stop the imposing advance of the state and people havingthe thoroughgoing faith and will to shape the future by their own strength witha firm belief in it.
His teaching of that day contained the philosophical principle that whenone believes in one’s strength, one will be strongand can attain any goal and that the happiness of the people and nationalprosperity are guaranteed only by one’s own strength.
The epochal changes and miracles, which are happening on this land today,are never the chance occurrence brought by time, but the product of devotedefforts of all the people who are armed with the immutable will of the GeneralSecretary who called for fighting with the unshakable faith that revolutionarieshave nothing to rely on but their own strength.
