Agricultural workers and members of UAWK mark 80th anniversary of national liberation

A meeting of agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea was held at the Yonthan County House of Culture in North Hwanghae Province on the 13th to celebrate the 80th anniversary of national liberation.
Present there were Han Kwang Ho, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the Union and agricultural workers.
Han Jong Hyok, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, made a report, which was followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers said the great leader Kim Il Sung thoroughly applied the independent stand and the spirit of independence by one's own efforts in the whole period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and continued:
He regarded the farmers as the main force of the revolution and opened a new history of the Juche-based peasant movement and held them up as masters of the land and masters of the country after liberation.
With a firm will to glorify the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung for national liberation forever, the great leader Kim Jong Il firmly defended socialism of Juche and ushered in a new era of building a powerful country with his energetic revolutionary leadership.
Under the experienced and seasoned leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is materializing the lofty intention of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the revolutionary spirit of the Paektu is sweeping the whole country and all people's spirit of general advance for bringing about overall national rejuvenation gets higher, they added.
