An oratorical meeting of officials and members of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea took place at the Hall of Women on August 13 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the SWUK, other officials of the women’s union and members of the women’s union in Pyongyang.
At the meeting, the performers highly praised the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and built on this land a new society where the people became its masters.
A performer in the oratory “The Glorious Motherland” said that the President is the eternal leader of the revolution and was a peerless patriot as he liberated the country from the Japanese imperialists’ military occupation through the protracted bloody anti-Japanese war and glorified the dignity and prestige of the country and its people on the highest level.
The audience was deeply moved by the oratory “Strength” telling about the noble devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who resolutely went even to the dangerous frontline for the prosperity of the socialist country and the happiness of the people and consolidated the strongest military muscle to guarantee the eternal peace of the country.
The oratory “Duties and Rights” reflected the firm determination to remain loyal to the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is continuing the journey of devoted service with a noble sense of mission and warm love for the country and its people.
