Meetings of young activists who distinguished themselves in displaying noble traits took place at the youth league committees of Pyongyang Municipality, Kangwon Province, South Hamgyong Province, Nampho Municipality, Kaesong Municipality, the Pyongyang Construction Commission, the Ministry of Railways and the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade Management Bureau respectively.
Present there were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, young activists in displaying noble traits, youth and students of relevant regions and units.
Reports were made at the meetings to be followed by speeches.
Reporters and speakers said that the meetings of young activists in displaying noble traits were held at a time when the all-people struggle for creation is being accelerated to successfully implement the grand revolutionary programme set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and glorify this significant year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK with proud labour successes.
They said that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un puts forward the young people as the most viable unit of society adding fresh strength to the country and leads them to grow up to be performers of miracles and feats and masters of beautiful virtues and traits.
They said that the loving care and trust of the great father serve as the sustenance in making the young people of the DPRK add lustre to the appellation of the socialist patriotic youth most honourably.
They called upon all the young people to glorify their precious youth in the vanguard of the historic advance for ushering in an era of overall prosperity of the DPRK under the leadership of the great Party.
They called upon all the officials of the youth league and young people to devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to the struggle to greet the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the glorious one of victors, remaining faithful to the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus demonstrate before the world the might of a dignified power which is making a leap forward with youthful vigour.
