The entire Koreans significantly celebrated the 77th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as an all-people event.
An endless stream of people visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are laid in state.
Officials, working people, service personnel and school youth and children placed floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the bronze statues of the great leaders in different parts of the country including Mansu Hill and their mosaic murals and paid tribute to them.
A lot of working people called at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri, the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery and martyrs cemeteries and tombs and memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the Korean People's Army across the country.
Colourful performances were given in the capital city of Pyongyang and other parts of the country, adding joy to the national holiday.
Merry dancing parties of young people and women's union members throughout the country enhanced the festive mood.
Public service amenities in the capital city and the provinces were crowded with the people.
That day working people and schoolchildren enjoyed themselves at the Central Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the Munsu Water Park and other cultural recreation resorts in the capital city.
