A technical lecture on fish farming in paddy fields was given through video conferencing at the Agricultural Commission on the 12th under the co-sponsorship of the Korean Agricultural Technology Association and the Korean Fishery Association under the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
It was attended by scientists, technicians and officials of over 3,000 units including the provincial, city and county agricultural guidance organs and farms across the country.
The lecture dealt with successes made in the course of studying the general system of green cultivation and fish farming in paddy fields of Korean style with high economic effectiveness and firm prospect which can increase both grain and fish production while lowering the cost.
