Production is vitalized at the regional-industry factories newly built in 20 cities and counties of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea according to the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The equipment of those factories includes the devices of the bottling process developed by the Pyongyang Han Tok SuUniversity of Light Industry.

Section Chief Kim Kyong Il played a leading and key role in establishing the bottling process.

He had long intensified the basic research to make the injecting and sealing device, the core piece of equipment of the bottling process, by relying on domestic resources.

He put much effort into understanding the components of the device and their working principles while studying the world trend of development of the injecting and sealing device.

On the other hand, he often went to regional-industry factories across the country to learn about their production capacities and preparedness of their employees and repeated his speculation and pursuit to present an optimized design suited to the actual conditions of the country.

In the course of his uninterrupted and strenuous basic research, he conceived a new idea of making a new injecting and sealing device with simple structure and less consumption of power in accordance with the medium- and small-scale production capacities.

He made tens of tests to translate his idea into reality.

He devoted his inexhaustible thinking and passion, regarding failure as a stepping-stone for success, and finally designed a smooth bottling process based on a driving gear.

Kim Kyong Il says:

"The issue of injector was raised from long ago.

So we made researches according to our actual conditions.

I prepared a draft and we made a new design.

And we went to many units including the Songdowon General FoodstuffFactory for our researches."

Thanks to the rich experience he gained in the course of his long basic research, Kim Kyong Il took on with confidence the research task for establishing a bottling process in our own way assigned to his university.

He developed the simplified and small injecting and sealing device in our own way, which can be handled easily by anybody, and manufactured the device of turning over bottles with the researchers.

He also led his research group to design and manufacture the bottle transporting device, another piece of equipment of the bottling process, and finally established a streamlined bottling process on a high level.

As said above, Section Chief Kim Kyong Il devoted his pure conscience as a scientist to the establishment of the bottling process with verified economical effectiveness and scientific and technological guarantee at new regional-industry factories out of his desire to support the regional development policy of WPK with perfect practice.

He is an ordinary scientist with no academic degree or title.

But he takes the desire of the country and demand of the people as his task and carries it out to the end.
