Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- Meetings, seminars, round-table talks, lectures and film shows took place in Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Switzerland and Serbia on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present at the events were personages of political parties, organizations and institutions and members of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in those countries.
Screened at the film shows were films dealing with the glorious journey of the WPK and videos introducing the reality of the DPRK in which the entities of regional rejuvenation are being constructed one after another.
Speeches were made at the events.
The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania and the chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania praised President Kim Il Sung for advancing the original line of party founding and accomplishing the historic cause of founding a revolutionary party of Juche type and Chairman Kim Jong Il for building the WPK into the Party of the leader and laid a solid ideological and theoretical foundation for its development.
They said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , who is adding luster to the undying exploits of the preceding leaders forever, clarified the line of party building in the new era and wisely leads it. The high dignity and prestige of the WPK are unthinkable without his seasoned leadership, they added.
Personages of the New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the WPK, which has been faithful to its idea for a long time since its foundation, has administered the people-first politics unprecedented in the political history of ruling socialist parties.
The chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the official representative of the Italian branch of the Korean Friendship Association and the chief of the Firenze group of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK is demonstrating its might as an independent power thanks to the wise leadership of HE Kim Jong Un who is steadfastly carrying forward the independent idea and independent politics of the great President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il and holding fast to them as powerful weapons for the advance and development of the DPRK. -0-
