The Korean Central News Agency released a commentary under the title "The Frenzy of 'Shock-Brigades' for Constitutional Amendment Will Only Endanger the Prospect of Japan All the More".
The commentary said the deep-rooted militaristic ambition of the Japanese reactionaries gets more reckless with each passing day, and continued:
Recently, the opposition Yushin Society of Japan has openly asserted that Clause 2 of Article 9 of the Constitution which stipulated "non-possession of fighting efficiency" should be deleted and the exercise of the "right to collective self-defence" approved extensively and at the same time, the possession of the "right to self-defence" and the "national defence forces" should be stipulated in the Constitution.
The Conservative Party of Japan also said the Constitution should be revised maintaining no war in order to defend Japan and it can be said that Japan had atoned for the "crime" of war for 80 years after the war, kicking up extreme frenzy.
Minor conservative political parties have joined all together in the moves for constitutional amendment led by the Liberal Democratic Party. It is a development of ill-boding moves showing that all the militaristic forces of Japan amass for a goal of overseas aggression.
Now ultrarightist conservatives of opposition parties of Japan including the Yushin Society are standing in the van of the constitutional amendment, which is related to the ruin of clan government of the Liberal Democratic Party which was crazy for social militarization as "vanguard" of the constitutional amendment.
Successively, the Liberal Democratic Party has adopted the constitutional amendment as its "basic policy" and manoeuvred in every way to fabricate a war constitution. Feeling extreme misgivings, the militaristic political parties have staked their destiny on the constitutional amendment with a wicked intention to encourage the broken-down Liberal Democratic Party and thus complete a war state in the shortest time.
The reality clearly proves that there was and is changed even a little in the political climate and constitutional nature of Japan dominated by fanatical nationalism with hatred for other nations and greed of their conquest. The frenzy of "shock-brigades" for constitutional amendment aimed at fabricating a war state and reviving a state of aggression will only endanger the prospect of Japan all the more, the commentary stressed.
