A film week opened to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
"Construction of 2nd-Stage 10,000 Flats in the Hwasong Area" from the documentary "Ideal Street of the People Built According to the Great Desire" (3) will be screened at cinemas and houses of culture across the country, which impressively shows the eye-opening changes of our state working epochal miracles and making a leap forward under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards the people-first principle as the political idea and mode of the WPK and builds a large flower garden based on love for the people on this land.
Diverse themes of feature films will be also projected, including the revolutionary film "The Sun of the Nation" showing the immortal exploits performed by the peerlessly great men for the founding, strengthening and development of the WPK and films "A Single Heart", "To the End of the Earth", "The Ten Party Members Today" and "Ask Yourself".
The opening ceremony was held at the People's Palace of Culture on the 5th.
Present there were Choe Hak Gun, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, creators and artistes in the filmdom and working people in the city of Pyongyang. A speech was made at the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the participants watched "Building the WPK into the Party Making Revolution, the Party Waging a Struggle and the Party of the People" from the documentary "Great Years, Immortal Journey" 1.
Film weeks also opened in the provinces on the same day.
