Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A performance was given by the artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at the Oryong Farm of Mundok County, South Phyongan Province on Wednesday to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Among the audience were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, officials concerned and agricultural workers in Mundok County.
At the performance that began with the chorus "Glory to Our Great Party", the performers sang in high praises of the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , the outstanding leaders and peerless statesmen, who founded the revolutionary party of Juche type and developed it into an integral organization and an ideologically pure entity.
The numbers gave deep impression to the audience as they reflected the truth that if the signpost of the party founding and the party's succession are great, the yesterday, today and tomorrow of the party will lead to victory and glory.
As female trio "Our Dear Marshal" and mixed chorus "We Are the Happiest in the World" resounded in the hall, the audience sent warm applauses to the performers with boundless reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who takes warm care of the people across the country.
The numbers, which reflected the cheerful working life of agricultural workers piling up stacks of grain for good harvest by raising the enthusiasm for scientific farming and high yielding on the blessed land, revved up the performance atmosphere. -0-
