Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- An on-line seminar of Latin American and Caribbean Region "Invincible Workers' Party of Korea becoming harmonious whole with popular masses" took place in Mexico on September 30 on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The seminar was co-sponsored by the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK and the Mexico-Korea Solidarity Committee.

Present there were personages of political parties, organizations for friendship and solidarity, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and institutions of Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru.

The chairperson of the Mexico-Korea Solidarity Committee made a keynote report at the seminar.

The WPK has become a powerful Party supported and trusted by the people and a motherly Party entirely taking care of the destiny of the people, the reporter said, adding that this would be unthinkable apart from the guidance of the prominent leaders who founded the revolutionary idea centered on the popular masses and thoroughly applied it to the Party building and activities,.

The reporter praised the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il which will always go down in the history of building the WPK, saying that history knows no such politicians as the leaders of the DPRK who founded and developed the genuine people's party and made it possible for the party to pursue the most genuine and excellent politics for the people by relying on the inexhaustible strength of the popular masses.

H.E. Kim Jong Un set forth the wisest line and policies for the happiness and prosperity of the people and is energetically working to realize them, the reporter said, adding that the single-minded unity of all the people overcoming all hardships, rallied close around the leader, is an appearance peculiar to the DPRK which cannot be found in any other parts of the world.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, the chairman of the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association, a director of the Brazil-Korea Friendship Association, the chairman of the Venezuelan Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK, the chairman of the Venezuelan Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chairman of the Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK in Ecuador, the chairman of the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People, the chairman of the Colombia-Korea Friendship Association and the chairman of the General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute made speeches at the seminar.

A congratulatory message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

The message said that the WPK, which has invariably preserved its revolutionary nature for 80 years, is the most powerful party and a model of the world progressive political parties.

The message highly praised the personality of Kim Jong Un as a peerlessly great man who is wisely leading the struggle to firmly defend the destiny of the country and people, adding that it is a pleasure for the progressive people to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK together with the DPRK people. -0-
