Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- A national seminar, themed "The Workers' Party of Korea and the Juche Idea", took place in Mexico on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.
Present there were members of the organization for the study of the Juche idea of Mexico and personages of academic circles.
Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who is director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, made a keynote speech at the seminar.
The WPK has developed into a genuine party of the people and a revolutionary party which has led socialist construction to victory and made selfless, devoted efforts for promoting the wellbeing of the people, regarding the Juche idea as its firm guidelines for the past 80 years since its founding, he said, adding:
The validity and vitality of the Juche idea founded by Comrade Kim Il Sung and developed and enriched by Comrade Kim Jong Il have been clearly proved through the reality of the DPRK.
The WPK and the DPRK people would win only victories in socialist construction and the accomplishment of the cause of independence against imperialism under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Eleazar Aldaran, secretary general of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and other personages made speeches.
The participants looked round photos showing the noble revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , photos and picture albums introducing the successes made by the DPRK people in their struggle for the comprehensive national rejuvenation under the seasoned leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un .
They also watched videos showing the strong spirit and stamina of the DPRK people and the proud entities of regional rejuvenation. -0-
