Officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, ministries and national agencies visited the bier of recipient of the Order of Kim Il Sung and the Order of Kim Jong Il and Labour Hero Kim Yong Nam, former Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, and expressed their condolences over his death on the 4th.
They entered the venue of the mourning ceremony with sorrow at the loss of a revolutionary of older generation and steady state activist who rendered distinguished services to the struggle for the victorious advance of the revolution and prosperity and development of the Republic with boundless loyalty to the leader and spirit of devoted service for the country and people.
Seen before the bier of the deceased was a wreath in the name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Amid the playing of dirge, wreaths were laid in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, the Cabinet of the DPRK, ministries and national agencies.
The condolers paid a silent tribute to the memory of the late Kim Yong Nam who devoted his life to the victory of the socialist cause of Korean style true to the idea and leadership of the Party.
They expressed their deep sympathy with the family of the deceased.
That day, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the DPRK and staff members of his embassy and the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam visited the bier of the deceased and expressed their condolences.
