The Ministry of Public Health is intensifying the work to improve the practical skills of students at public health vocational schools and nurse training classes across the country.
Officials and educators of the Vocational Education Training Centre under the Ministry of Public Health make new video programs for nursing skills and send them to the nurse training classes. Meanwhile, they go down to the hospitals in Kangdong County of Pyongyang, in the city of Kusong of North Phyongan Province and in Ryonggang County of Nampho to help train medical workers.
The nurse training class of the Kangdong County Hospital teaches how to nurse by demonstration in the place for practice in close contact with medical workers of the Pyongyang University of Medical Sciences to train the students as medical workers with high medical qualifications.
The Kusong City Public Health Vocational School lets incumbent nurses and students experience nursing at the same time so that they can improve their skills while learning each other. The nurse training class of the Ryonggang County Hospital improves and strengthens education so that the students can have ability and qualifications to actively nurse patients by themselves.
