The Kwangchon Chicken Farm in Hwangju County of North Hwanghae Province is a model and standard of poultry farming in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, whose production of chicken and eggs has been put on a perfectly intensive and scientific basis.
All the processes of the farm have been automated from the temperature and humidity control of breeding houses to lighting, feed supply and excrement treatment.
And the work, study and living environments for its employees as well as the veterinary and anti-epizootic work and the experimental analysis system are on a high level.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the wonderfully-built Kwangchon Chicken Farm on January 7, 2024.
He was satisfied to look round the smart farm successfully built as a new standard and model in the development of poultry farming of the country as planned by the Workers' Party of Korea.
He said he was very happy to see the chicken and eggs streaming out from the modern production process and stressed the need to provide the people with more meat and eggs, holding fast to the normalization of production as an important policy-oriented task.
And he noted that the Kwangchon Chicken Farm, which successfully created the standard and model of development for the present era, should hold the banner in the van of the struggle to develop the country's poultry farming and regional industry and improve the people's living in the future, too.
The Kwangchon Chicken Farm is making an active contribution to further enriching the people's diet under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
