Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- National economic plans for November were fulfilled in various sectors and units of the DPRK.
Officials and workers in the sector of metallurgical industry made innovations in production in the creation spirit of self-sufficiency.
The Musan Mining Complex successfully ensured blasting of different scales including the blasting of one million cubic meter earth and waged a drive for increased production, thus increasing the earth-scrapping and the production of iron ore compared with the same period last year.
The chemical industrial sector has pushed ahead with the production of fertilizer and basic chemical products.
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex produced more fertilizer every day than planned by lowering the standard of consumption of raw materials per unit, improving the quality of crushing raw materials and ensuring the full operation of oxygen separators and other equipment.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex fulfilled its monthly plan by introducing a rational method of operation suited to the characteristics of equipment and improving the indices according to the characteristics of catalyst.
The Ministry of Electric Power Industry successfully carried out its November plan.
The workers of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex increased the output of electricity while concentrating on laying material and technical foundations for the long-term development.
The coal miners over-fulfilled the monthly plan for the Ministry of Coal Industry by launching the socialist patriotic movement for increased coal production.
Officials and workers in the machine-building industrial sector made successes in the production of custom-built equipment.
Those in the mining industrial sector pushed ahead with the production of minerals and nonferrous metals with bold courage and vigour.
The Ministry of Forestry carried out its monthly plan at 120 percent.
The Paekam Mine Timber Production Station under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, the Hochon Mine Timber Production Station, the Komdok Mine Timber Production Station and the Jangjin Forestry Station under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau have fulfilled their daily assignments by strengthening their workteam cooperation to increase the amount of logging per unit time and introducing efficient working methods.
Officials and workers in the railway transport sector waged an increased transport drive to over-fulfill the freight transport plan in November for the Ministry of Railways.
The building-materials industrial sector revitalized production, injecting vitality and vigor into the socialist grand construction.
Workers in the light industrial sector made successes in the production of famous products and commodities favored by the people.
The Ministry of Fisheries fulfilled its monthly plan.
The North Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau, the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau, the South Hwanghae Provincial Fishery Management Bureau and the Nampho Fishery Station conducted rapid mobile operations on the basis of analysis of the main fishing grounds and adjusted the water layer in a scientific way to catch large quantities of fish. -0-
