The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received messages of greetings from the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and its organizations.

The messages came from the Standing Council of the Federation ofKorean Men of Commerce in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the KoreanYouth League in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Teachers in Japan, the Central Standing Council of the Korean Scientists andTechnologists Association in Japan, the Standing Council of the Korean Sportsmen'sFederation in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of KoreanWriters and Artists in Japan, the Central Standing Council of the Korean Health WorkersAssociation in Japan and other central organizations of Chongryon andits affiliated bodies, the Joson Sinbo Company, the Korean News Service, the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe, the Society for Promoting Korea-Japan Economic Exchange and other business firms, regional headquarters of Chongryon,Korea University and other Korean schools at all levels in Japan.

The messages extended the greatest honour and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un, the great sun of Juche Korea and benevolent father of Chongryon and Japan-resident Koreans, on the occasion of the significant New Year.

They said last year was a noteworthy year when remarkable successes were achieved in carrying out the tasks for bringing about the period of overall development of socialism set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and radical development and changes made in the improvement of the people's living and the promotion of their well-being under the outstanding leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They described the New Year 2026 as a historic year which will witness the Ninth Congress of the WPK and the 26th Congress of Chongryon and a year of turning point to positively pioneer the first phase of the new period of ten-year struggle for implementing the important letter sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of Chongryon.

They stressed that in the significant new year Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan will launch more vigorously the advance of patriotism for writing a great new history of the movement of Koreans in Japan by carrying forward the patriotic spirit of the founding generation true to the historic letter sent by Kim Jong Un to the participants of the 25th Congress of Chongryon.

They sincerely wished Kim Jong Un good health for the victorious advance and bright future of the Juche cause and the patriotic cause of Chongryon.
