Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- Various units in the DPRK have carried out their plans for the first day of the new year.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex fulfilled its plan for the first day of the new year at 107 percent, and the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex produced large quantities of fertilizer while improving the stability of systems and strengthening the cooperation between processes.
The Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex kindled the flames of increased production from the first day of the new year. Namdok, Inpho and Phunggok youth coal mines introduced efficient working methods to produce lots of coal on New Year's Day, and the workers at Songnam and Hoean youth coal mines intensified cooperation between shifts to bring about collective innovations in every face.
The Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex has registered remarkable results in production and the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex, the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex and others have increased the rate of fulfilling their daily plans by exploring and tapping reserves and potentialities.
The electricity producers at the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station are operating the generating equipment at full capacity with the same spirit as was displayed in fulfilling its electricity-production plan for the first day of the new year. -0-
