Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) — Agricultural workers of the Kumsaem Farm in Kumgang County, Kangwon Province of the DPRK became blessed owners of modern rural dwellings in the era of great upsurge when the capital and local areas, urban and rural areas are being rejuvenated simultaneously.
The beautiful fairyland village built at the foot of Mt Kumgang, a scenic spot on the East Sea, visually shows the warm love of the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea which is cultivating a large flower garden for the people and opening a new history of rural rejuvenation on this land.
The village, where single- and low-storeyed houses were designed to fully serve the convenience of inhabitants while preserving the features peculiar to the mountainous area and beautiful scenery was created in harmony with the surrounding environment, is full of the people’s happiness.
A ceremony of moving into new houses was held on the spot. Present there were officials of the province and the county and agricultural workers.
An address was made and licenses for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.
Amid the playing of peasants’ music and dancing party, moving into new houses began in the village.
