National Book and Fine Art Exhibition for Commemorating 9th Congress of WPK opens

The National Book and Fine Art Exhibition for Commemorating the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea opened with due ceremony at the Korea National Art Museum on the 11th.
Present at the opening ceremony were Ju Chang Il, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials, journalists and artists of ministries, national agencies and the press and in the field of fine arts, and working people in Pyongyang.
Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.
He said the national book and fine art exhibition held on the occasion of the Ninth Congress of the WPK is a significant political and cultural festival telling forever the immortal revolutionary exploits performed by the peerlessly great men Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un for the Party and revolution, the country and people, and their greatness and showing the history of heroic struggle of the Korean people who have won victory after victory under the wise leadership of the Party Central Committee.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
