Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The 16th enlarged plenary meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League took place on March 9.
Attending it were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the youth league.
Present as observers were officials of the Central Committee of the youth league and youth league officials of ministries, national agencies and provinces, cities and counties.
The meeting discussed the issue of carrying through the important tasks, set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK, and the issue of convening the Eleventh SPYL Congress.
Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the SPYL, made a report.
He stressed that the historic report made by the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Congress of the WPK is the most scientific strategy of struggle that indicates the path of new leaps forward in our revolution and a great action programme that strongly promotes the overall prosperity and development of our socialist state.
He said that thanks to the great love and trust of Kim Jong Un who wisely leads the young people to glorify their honor as the patriotic youth in the vanguard of the general advance for great changes and development, the young people have grown up to be more reliable performers of miracles and feats and a large contingent of the youth, ready to respond to the Party's call positively, has been trained.
The report analyzed and reviewed in detail the shortcomings and lessons shown in the work of the youth league organizations at all levels.
The reporter referred to the tasks for fulfilling the mission and duty as the reliable advancing group and wing of the Party.
Speeches were made and a relevant decision adopted.
The meeting decided to convene the 11th SPYL Congress in Pyongyang in late April 2026. -0-
