Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- A meeting of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) took place at the Chollima Steel Complex on March 11 to vow to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present there were Min Sung Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials of the GFTUK Central Committee and the Chollima Steel Complex and its workers and trade union members.
Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, made a speech.
The speaker said that the speeches made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Party Congress are an immortal programme indicating the most scientific orientation of struggle, goals and practical tasks for giving further momentum to the era of comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism with confidence.
Saying that thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un , the victory in carrying out the new five-year plan is certain and the people's ideals and aspirations will surely come true, he called upon all the workers and trade union members to wage a dynamic struggle for the brilliant implementation of the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress.
Oath-taking speeches were made.
A letter of pledge to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
