To pay an official visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the invitation of Comrade Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, arrived here by presidential plane on March 25.
He was accompanied by Comrades Yury Shuleika, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aliaksandr Khajayeu, Minister of Public Health, Andrei Ivanets, Minister of Education, Andrei Kuzniatsou, Minister of Industry, and other suite members.
Seen flying at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport were the national flags of the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus and the guard of honor of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the apron of the airport.
Comrade Kim Tok Hun, member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and First Vice-Premier of the Cabinet, and Comrade Kim Jong Gyu, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, warmly greeted Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus.
A woman worker presented a bouquet to Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Children welcomed the friendly guests of Belarus, waving national flags of the two countries.
