Performance Given by Art Group Members of Pyongyang Students and Children’s Palace

“Spring Holiday Is Eternal Thanks to the Marshal”, a performance by the Pyongyang Students and Children’s Palace art group members, was given at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-air Theatre on April 13 to celebrate the 114th birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung .
Among the audience were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
The colourful numbers of the performance included a song and dance “We Are the Happiest in the World” and a narrative poem and song “My Country Is the Life of the Generalissimo”.
The performers highly praised the revolutionary career and exploits of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung , who put forward the children as the king of the country and ensured the bright future of the rising generations with his warm love and affection.
They well represented all the schoolchildren’s deep reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un through instrumental duet and chorus, national instrument music and song and other numbers.
They also showed the ardent desire of the younger generations to prepare themselves as reliable pillars shouldering the future of socialist Korea by firmly carrying forward the traditions of loyalty and patriotism under the uplifted flag of the Korean Children’s Union.
