The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a message of greetings from the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

I, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, send sincere congratulations to you on the seventh anniversary of your first visit to Russia and the first anniversary of the liberation of the Kursk Region from the Bandera forces, the two occasions of great significance in the history of the Russia-DPRK relations.
Your state visit to Russia in April 2019 was a really historic event for the two countries and powerfully promoted the development of Russia-DPRK cooperation based on the glorious tradition of friendship and good neighbourly relations provided in the period of the Soviet Union.
With the conclusion of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Russian Federation and the DPRK, our relations reached an unprecedentedly high level and entered a new era.
As units of the Korean People's Army were deployed in the Kursk Region to liberate it from the neo-Nazi aggressors according to your decision, articles specified in the treaty could be perfectly implemented.
The successful conclusion of the operations to liberate the Kursk Region demonstrated all over the world the solidity and invincibility of the militant fraternity between Russia and the DPRK.
We express heartfelt thanks to you and the entire Korean people for helping us with the liberation of the Kursk Region and will never forget the heroic feats of the brave Korean soldiers who shed blood and sacrificed their lives for Russia and for our common freedom.
We highly value the traditional friendly relations between the two parties and will make all efforts to continuously strengthen the friendship between Russia and the DPRK for the interests of the peoples of the two countries in the future, too.
I wish you good health and happiness and the fraternal Korean people great success and prosperity.
