An art performance of the artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League and schoolchildren, "Large Contingent of Patriotic Youth, Forward under the Banner of the Party!", was given on May 1 in commemoration of the Eleventh SPYL Congress.
Among the audience were Kim Song Gi, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, Paek Un Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, and other youth league officials, participants in the Eleventh SPYL Congress and members of congratulatory groups of the Korean Youth League in Japan and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and a home-visiting group of students in their final year at Korea University of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.
The performance began with the solemn playing of the national anthem of the DPRK. Put on the stage were colourful numbers praising the wisdom, stamina and noble spiritual world of the young people.
Through female solo and pangchang "We Cannot Live without You" and song and dance "Dear Father", the performers showed the boundless pride and honour of the young people glorifying the most valuable days of their life under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is making a great history of valuing the youth with his outstanding ideas and leadership.
The performance reached its climax with songs "We Are Koreans" and "Fly Forever, National Flag", which reflect the iron faith and will of the youth to advance more bravely and more vigorously toward the bright future in the vanguard of the struggle for the prosperity of the country as befits the masters of the dignified youth power.
The performance, which inspired the young people with revolutionary enthusiasm, ended with the finales "March of Korean Youth" and "My Strong Motherland".
