Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet warmongers kicked off a "Latter Half of 2017 Chungmu" drill and "Hwarang" drill in three regions, including South Jolla Province and Jeju Island, under the pretext of "coping with the north's threat and provocation" with military units, administrative organs and civilians mobilized.
Against this backdrop the puppet forces launched the north-targeted large-scale "Hoguk" drill with the U.S.
Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Tuesday says that such simultaneous war exercises are pushing the tensions on the Korean peninsula to the worst phase.
Their provocative saber-rattling is not only a foolish act to mobilize all manpower and material resources of south Korea as well as the puppet army for the U.S. reckless war moves against the DPRK in contingency in the peninsula but also a sinister charade to incite among the south Korean people the hostility towards the fellow countrymen and a war atmosphere, the commentary notes, and goes on:
The present ruling forces in south Korea are wicked traitors to the nation who do not hesitate to put everything in the American master's mouth and ignite a war against the north so as to prolong their remaining days.
The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are now getting hell-bent on the anti-DPRK sanctions and pressure and war moves, viciously criticizing the DPRK's measure for bolstering up its nuclear deterrent for self-defense as "provocation" and "threat". However, the reality shows that the provocateurs and warmongers are none other than the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces who escalate the tensions and bring a nuclear disaster to the Korean peninsula.
The puppet trigger-happy forces will have to pay dearly for their reckless confrontational acts of doing harm to the destiny of the nation with the backing of foreign forces.
