Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and its vassal forces are now making nonsensical remarks, frightened by the rapid development of the state nuclear force of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea nearing its final stage.
However, the self-defensive character and mission of the DPRK's nuclear force can never change despite anyone's twisting or denial of it.
Steadfast is the principled stand of the DPRK to decisively smash the aggressive challenges of the hostile forces with its nuclear deterrent of justice and reliably defend peace and security in the Korean peninsula, Northeast Asia and the rest of the world, Rodong Sinmun says in an article Saturday, adding:
Our nuclear weapons are a precious fruition borne out by the bloody struggle of our people to protect the destiny and sovereignty of the country from the U.S. imperialists' nuclear threats.
The DPRK took the option for nuclear access to root out the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and its unilateral nuclear threats and blackmail.
Its nukes are the powerful deterrent that reliably ensures peace and security in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia and guarantees the sovereignty and rights to existence and development of the Korean people. And they are the treasured sword of justice that helps remove the dark clouds of nuclear war by the imperialists seeking to impose a horrible disaster upon mankind and provide the blue sky for the people to lead an independent happy life.
Our nuclear weapons are aimed at the U.S., empire of evils, from A to Z, and they will never be a threat to any other country of the world.
The DPRK will not flinch even an inch in building up its state nuclear force but vigorously advance toward the final victory along the road chosen by itself, no matter whatever others may say. -0-
