An extension project of generating equipment at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex was brought to completion.
Its inaugural ceremony took place at the complex on December 12.
It was attended by O Su Yong, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Vice-premier Kim Tok Hun of the Cabinet, Minister Kim Man Su of Electric Power Industry, Chairman Kim Tu Il of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, soldier-builders and working people who rendered services to the construction, officials and employees of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Thermal Power Construction Complex, and members of the women’s union in Pukchang County.
O Su Yong conveyed the congratulatory message sent by the WPK Central Committee to the builders and supporters who have performed brilliant labour feats in the project.
Kim Tok Hun delivered an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.
A resolution was adopted.
The participants looked round the newly-installed generating equipment.
