In recent years the DPRK has built many monumental edifices such as Hwasong Street, Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District, Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area and Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.
The successful construction of the magnificent and attractive structures cannot be thought apart from the big role of the Chollima Tile Factory.
The factory produces a wide range of tiles, including exterior and interior wall tiles, floor tiles, marble tiles and microlite tiles.
As the demand for tiles is increasing day by day, it gives priority to increasing the variety of its products and improving their quality while lowering production cost by dint of advanced science and technology.
Its current production scale and output are several times higher than those five years ago.
The products of the factory, diverse in size, shape, colour and pattern, satisfy the demand of customers in quality indices such as size, rectangularity, strength, gloss and resistance to acidity, alkalinity and staining.
They have been highly appreciated at the recent international trade fairs in Pyongyang, and sci-tech festivals and exhibitions.
