The national exhibition of sci-tech successes in the field of finishing building materials-2019 was opened at the Sci-Tech Complex on May 13.
On display in the venue of the exhibition, under the theme of diversified, varied and multicoloured finishing building materials, are 250-odd research findings and achievements in such forms as products and charts.
During the exhibition, there will be an introduction of sci-tech achievements made in the research into the finishing building materials and their production, and exchange of technologies.
Its opening ceremony was attended by Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission, officials concerned, and officials, scientists and technicians of ministries, national agencies, scientific and educational institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
Ri Chung Gil, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, delivered an opening address.
After the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition venue.
The exhibition will last till May 20.
