University and college students in Pyongyang are conducting various activities in different sectors of the national economy during their winter vacation.
They volunteered to work at the construction sites of the third-stage project for sprucing up Samjiyon City and other projects of national importance, rendering active manpower and material support to builders.
Those who went to the Jangchon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District of Pyongyang, Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and other industrial establishments and cooperative farms are working together with working people there, while explaining the idea of the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on launching an offensive for a frontal breakthrough as required by the present situation and the developing revolution and inspiring them to the drive for its implementation.
Their on-site motivational artistic activities are encouraging them with fresh courage and confidence.
“Working at the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex, I was greatly encouraged by its workers launching an offensive for a frontal breakthrough on the strength of self-reliance to tide over the difficulties in production and construction,” said Kim Kwang Hyok, a student of Kim Il Sung University.
University students in all provinces, too, are conducting various activities during their winter vacation.
