Mostafa Jamal Haider, Chairman of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, issued a statement on February 9 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il .
The statement praised Kim Jong Il for having developed and enriched the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, thus formulating it as Kimilsungism.
The statement noted that Kim Jong Il was an outstanding thinker and theoretician who illuminated the way for the world socialist movement through his energetic writing activities when the imperialists and reactionaries were loudly trumpeting about the “end of socialism.”
It said that under his wise leadership, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea founded by Kim Il Sung has developed into an invincible socialist fortress.
It noted that Kim Jong Il remarkably bolstered up the military might of the country to defend the security of the people from the imperialists’ military threat and maneuvers of aggression.
It stressed that the image of Kim Jong Il , the true leader of the people, will always be cherished in the mind of the Korean people and progressive mankind of the world.
