The signing ceremony of the “Agreement on Cooperation Between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos” was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos.
Ri Yong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, and Thongsavanh PHOMVIHANE, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, signed the agreement respectively.
At the ceremony, the Ambassador mentioned the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il , and Comrade Kim Jong Un , Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, in their external activities for the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Laos. He emphasized that it is the unshakable stand of the government of the DPRK to further develop the traditional friendly bilateral relations.
Saying that the signed agreement would make an important contribution to further consolidating and developing the friendly relations between the two countries with a long history and tradition, especially the cooperative relations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, the Deputy Minister expressed the will to make active efforts for the development of bilateral relations.
