Over the past 71 years since the birth of new China, the Chinese people have registered remarkable successes in socialist construction under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of China.

By leading the Party, government and people of China, you have made a decisive progress in the struggle for overall construction of elementarily rich society and complete liquidation of poverty despite the serious challenges at home and abroad and are reliably defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

The daily increasing abuses and pressure of the hostile forces cannot impair the trust of the Chinese people in you and the Communist Party of China or deny the successes achieved by socialist China or check the Chinese people advancing along the road chosen by themselves.

I am sure that the Chinese people would surely hit the far-reaching goal of building a modern socialist power in firm unity around the Communist Party of China with you as the core.
