Han Tae Song, Permanent Representative of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland met on October 13 with Martin Chungong, Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union(IPU).
The Secretary General conveyed his warm congratulations to the Korean people who had celebrated the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea(WPK) in a generous way and said that it is a remarkable event that grand celebrations were held in the DPRK at the time when the whole world is stuck with the large-scale pandemic crisis.
He hoped that peace and stability would settle on the Korean peninsula as early as possible, and expressed his belief that the Korean people would surely achieve the reunification of the country.
