East Pyongyang Middle School No. 1 is making achievements in the work to improve the quality of education.
Its teachers work out their teaching plans with the main stress on helping students have a correct understanding of the essence of matters and phenomena in the course of collecting data and raising points and analyzing them by themselves, systematizing them in a comprehensive way and presenting their opinions about them.
They also prepare reference books necessary for students to do their homework and have an ample idea of contents to be taught in the next lecture.
In particular, they hold seminars aimed at developing students’ creative application capacity through the assembly and control of artificial intelligence robots by themselves.
Besides, the school has developed various study support programs to further improve the quality of teaching and made big strides in putting educational environment on an IT, visualized, VR and intelligent footing.
In the course of this, it was selected as one of ten IT model units in 2018 and 2019 for the two consecutive years.
