Kim Jong Un
, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a
message of greetings from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The message said.
Upon
receiving the news that Comrade
Kim Jong Un
was elected General
Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea at the Eighth Congress of the WPK, I extend warm congratulations
to you and the Central Committee of the WPK on behalf of myself and
the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The Eighth
Congress of the WPK, which organized and made series of arrangement of works for developing the socialist cause of Korea, is of crucial
significance.
It fully shows the trust, support and expectation of
the entire members of the WPK and other Korean people that you were elected the supreme leader of the WPK again.
I believe
that the WPK and the Korean people would strive hard to hit the goals of socio-economic development under the firm leadership of the Central
Committee of the WPK headed by you General Secretary with the current Congress
as an occasion and achieve fresh greater successes in promoting the cause of
Korean-style socialism.
It is a steadfast line of the party and the government of China to
wonderfully defend, consolidate and develop the relations between China and the DPRK.
Under the situation in which the world faces the period of chaos and
changes, I am willing to strengthen, together with you, the strategic guidance of the
relations between the two parties and two countries of China and the DPRK, constantly write the new page of Sino-Korean friendship and cooperation
according to the series of important common understanding reached
between both sides, promote the development of the cause of socialism of the two
countries, defend peace and stability, development and prosperity of
the region by maintaining political way of solution to the issue of the
peninsula and provide the two countries and the two peoples with
greater happiness.
The message wished General Secretary
Kim Jong Un
fresh and greater successes by leading the Party and people of Korea and smooth progress in his work.
