Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), received a congratulatory message from Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on January 11.
Nguyen Phu Trong in the message extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un upon his election as General Secretary of the WPK on behalf of the Central Committee of CPV and on his own behalf.
He also sincerely hoped that the WPK would make great progress in accomplishing the cause of building a prosperous country and providing the people with happiness under the leadership of Kim Jong Un .
Expressing his belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two Parties and the two countries would grow strong with each passing day, he wished Kim Jong Un good health and good success in his important and responsible work.
