Core Unit of Socialist Construction, and Vanguard of Self-reliance

Our working people and trade union members marked the Ninth Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea as a significant milestone in accelerating national economic construction and social progress. This further lifted their indomitable spirit and fighting will.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un honors them as the core unit of the socialist construction and the vanguard of self-reliance. Cherishing his great love and trust deep in their heart, our working class and trade union members have turned out as one for the national prosperity and power with redoubled patriotic zeal and mettle so as to fulfill their responsibility as the leading force of the country.
Factories, enterprises and all other establishments are witnessing brisk drive for creation and ardent enthusiasm for rapid progress, as well as dynamic mass innovation drive for achieving new upward development in socialist construction.
They are confident that self-reliance is the only way; they boldly got rid of dependence on others and the outdated and backward things in all sectors. They are constantly creating new standards and records by relying on our own resources, strength and technology, and thus consolidate the broad avenue toward prosperity.
Our working people and trade union members, true to the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with single-minded loyalty, will steadily play an active vanguard role in all sectors of socialist construction by giving fuller play to the fighting spirit of self-sufficiency and creative workstyle in the struggle for a new stage of transformation in building a prosperous power.
The new phase of struggle for a powerful socialist country waged vigorously by our Party for eye-opening development and prosperity of our state will be concluded brilliantly with a great victory thanks to the strong revolutionary disposition and patriotic loyalty of all the working people across the country including the heroic working class.
