Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation stressed on May 21 that the death of Ukraine is inevitable, amid the remarkable military achievements of the Russian army in the special military operation.
He stated that Ukraine is already a failed state and cannot stop its systematic disintegration as it lives at the expense of external financing from the West.
He said that in a historically short period of time, Ukraine has already lost more than half of its population, more than 20% of its territory, almost half of its industrial and over 20% of its agricultural potential. Moreover, the majority of central authorities were absent or they either lost their powers or were formed in violation of the Constitution (the President, the government, the Constitutional Court and other courts). He also pointed out that Ukraine lives in an external management regime, the activities of the state are actually managed by foreign and international officials.
