Army-people rallies were held in North Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang and South Hamgyong Provinces on the 19th to offer the greatest honour to the respected
Kim Jong Un
elected General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and thoroughly implement the decision of the Eighth Party Congress.
Present at the rallies were officials and workers of the local party and government organs, working people's organizations, industrial establishments and cooperative farms and service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces.
Speeches were made.
The speakers said the reelection of the respected
Kim Jong Un
to the head of the WPK at the Eighth Party Congress is a great revolutionary event which provided a decisive guarantee for victory of Korean-style socialism and promised a bright future, and extended the greatest honour and warmest congratulations to him.
They fully supported and approved the decision of the Eighth Party Congress which clearly indicated new goals of struggle for the economic development and the improvement of the people's living standard. They called upon all to turn out as one to implement the decision of the Party Congress to make innovations and development and substantial changes anyone could feel.
They stressed the need to bear in mind the validity of the idea and cause of the Party and the inevitability of victory, and work hard to bring about prosperity of our socialist state under the banner of self-reliance.

were adopted at the rallies.
