The officials and employees of the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory are registering good results in production to implement the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
In recent years, the factory has induced all its employees to turn out as one in the work for technical innovations with the viewpoint that technical innovation is just revitalization of production. As a result, a lot of valuable technical innovation proposals have been made by workers as well as technicians and skilled workers.
The factory has built a new vapour-recovery process and raised the efficiency of the boiler to improve the production environment. It has also solved a number of scientific and technological problems arising in preserving the unique taste of the products to further raise their quality.
In addition, the factory has introduced a new system of automatically measuring and controlling the temperature and humidity of the potato storehouse and the concentration of the carbon dioxide in accordance with the increased amount of stock, improving the condition for potato storage.
The factory has actively introduced advanced technologies into major processes ranging from the feeding of raw materials to washing, sorting, drying and packing. It is now bringing about a good result in production more than two times as compared with that three years ago.
The officials and employees of the factory are solving all problems with their own efforts and technology, deeply conscious of the might of science and technology.
